About us
We are the Parish of All Saints with St Margaret, Upper Norwood, a vibrant Anglican church in the Modern Catholic tradition, rooted in prayer, sacrament, and the life-giving love of Jesus Christ.

At the heart of everything we do is Christ. We gather around word and sacrament, we worship with beauty and reverence, and we are sent out renewed to love and serve the world God so deeply loves. Our faith is not something we keep to ourselves. It moves us beyond our walls, into our neighbourhood, and into the lives of those around us.

We are a diverse and joyful community, worshipping in more than one language, shaped by many cultures, stories, and journeys of faith. Here, difference is not a problem to be managed but a gift to be cherished. Many languages, one Lord. Many paths, one table. Many lives, one shared hope.
Justice, hospitality, and radical welcome are not add-ons to the Gospel for us. They are essential to it. We are deeply committed to standing alongside refugees and asylum seekers, working for racial justice, responding to human need, and challenging structures that deny dignity or hope. We believe that loving God must always be expressed in loving action.
Our life together is marked by generous orthodoxy and open hearts. You do not need to have everything figured out to belong here. Faith is something we grow into together, in trust, humility, and relationship. Questions are welcomed. Gifts are shared. Everyone matters.
Our vision is simple and demanding:
In all, to love and to serve, Christ-centred and outward-focused.
Whether you are exploring faith, returning to church, seeking justice, or simply longing for a place where you can be known and loved, you are welcome here. Come as you are. There is a place for you at the feast.
